Policy scope
This draft applies to the booking-level diagnostic and workplace-pickup fee. Parts, labour, tax, balance payments, and any warranty remedies require final approved terms.
Early cancellation
A request in payment_pending or request_received may be eligible for self-service cancellation. A captured online diagnostic fee is refunded only when the approved policy requires it and the provider confirms the refund.
After collection
After equipment collection, the diagnostic fee is not automatically refundable. Contact operations so diagnosis, custody, return, and any exceptional refund decision can be handled under the approved policy.
Processing and failures
Refunds use the original payment operation when possible, are idempotent, and remain pending until authoritative provider confirmation. Provider or operational delay does not change a pending refund into a completed refund. Failed refunds require reconciliation and audited retry.
Operator and policy contact
The verified controller/operator identity is a launch-blocking configuration value. A verified privacy contact must be configured before publication.
